MENTOR Outreach and News on Instagram launches
July 2023 To complement the YouTube channel and Outreach podcast, MENTOR launched an Instagram profile to inform young scientists about events and project news and the great benefits of doing an MSCA programme like MENTOR.
Aston ESR’s Outreach for International Women in Engineering Day and Transnet
23 June 2023 Aston ESR1 Sasipim Srivallapanondh gave a talk at INWED, International Women in Engineering Day. The aim is to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus attention on the amazing career opportunities available to girls in this exciting industry. TRANSNET stands for Transforming Networks, Building an Optical Network Infrastructure. The TRANSNET Programme is led by a world renowned research team at the University College London (UCL) in collaboration with Aston University and University of Cambridge. Our aim is to create an adaptive intelligent optical network that will form the backbone of the next generation digital infrastructure.
Aston ESR’s Outreach at Coventry Robot Day
18 March 2023 Aston ESR1 Sasipim Srivallapanondh has been busy on Robot Day. The day was created to inspire and educate young people and those who are influential in their lives about STEAM careers through: creative workshops, activities, displays, exhibits, and talks on robotics, automation and AI.
