December 2 2022 Aston ESR1 Sasipim Srivallapanondh spoke online to students at Kasetsart Univresity in Bangkok Thailand. The talk was called ‘Just Look Around’ and urged students to investigate the MSCA programmes available.
September 2022 MENTOR launched a monthly outreach PODCAST available on Apple, Spotify and Google and a YOUTUBE channel too.
YouTube clips were filmed mainly at ECOC 2022 in Basel Switzerland and focused on MSCA programmes and their benefits.
The podcast takes a closer look at machine learning, as well as exploring each researcher’s interests and areas of work.

October 12 2022 Aston ESR1 Sasipim Srivallapanondh supported an event with her knowledge of MSCA programmes and STEM at City Fest, a festival about smart city technologies.

April 2022 MENTOR Early Stage Researcher Mariano Devigili gave a lecture on the optical networks behind the internet to around 50 Year 12 students at Aston University Engineering Academy.
Mariano is hosted by the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona and he also spoke about MENTOR EID and the EC’s Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions.
MENTOR is delighted to impact and inspire young students who may not realise the career paths open to them.

March 2022 Following on from the success of their outreach session in November 2021 and demand for another, MENTOR Early Stage Researchers 3 and 4 (Lareb Zar Khan and Abdennour Ben Terki) hosted by Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (SSSA) in Pisa spoke about MENTOR EID and the EC’s Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions to 19 Masters students on the Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and NETworks programme (PIXNET) at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. These students are potential prime future candidates for an EID.
