Partners: Universities & Industry

MENTOR consists of an experienced consortium with a vast and industrially relevant range of knowledge. The main advantage is the connection and complementary exchange of expertise between academia and industry. The project’s main goal is to empower Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) through the provision of a comprehensive and coherent training platform. This will allow them to apply advanced techniques to industry-based problems in multi-band optical communications, working from bench to bedside, and back to bench.

MENTOR Project Co-ordinator

“MENTOR ESRs will be trained and prepared for leadership positions in industry and academia, as pioneers in the emerging multi-disciplinary field of machine learning (ML) applications in multi band optical communications. The ESRs will act as ambassadors in promoting integration between different parts of the private sector and will become the next-generation research leaders in the field, important to commercial competitiveness, education and healthcare provision in Europe. We are delighted to be collaborating with the partners below”.
